Elsia La Caria Master of Social Work, Registered Social Worker
I have twenty years of therapeutic experience working with individuals, families, adolescents and couples. My style is warm and informal and I provide my clients with realistic tools that inspire growth and change. I believe that all therapy should be rooted in a client-therapist relationship that is characterized by warmth, acceptance and trust.
My approach is informed by the following modalities; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples and Individuals.
I also have advanced training through Postpartum Support International and I was inspired to specialize in maternal mental health after my own postpartum struggles. I found that support and awareness were lacking for women from pre-conception to postpartum and I became passionate about normalizing the changes and challenges that come with the transition into parenthood.
I am highly influenced by attachment science and I obtain inspiration from the healing powers of connection and emotional security. I am committed to staying current on research and evidence-based treatments and I engage in ongoing psychotherapy training.
I believe that psychotherapy is an art that involves the “meeting of two minds”. I am passionate about helping my clients heal and grow and I am honoured to witness the shifts that occur within themselves and ultimately, their lives.

Antonella Macri Master of Social Work, Registered Social Worker
I have 17 years of therapeutic experience with youth and adults both in Italy and in Canada. My advanced assessment and treatment skills help me to support families and couples experiencing a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health concerns. My approach is informal, warm and genuine and it is informed by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused-CBT, Emotionally Focussed Therapy (EFT) for couples, strength based therapy, solution focused therapy and mindfulness.
I specialize in working with youth and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, life challenges, and those in search of personal growth and parenting support. My passion lies in couples therapy and helping couples to deepen their connection and security with one another.
I also enjoy supporting women in their prenatal and postpartum journey. As a mother of two, I understand first hand the struggles of parenthood, the lack of control one can feel, and the unrealistic pressure society places on women and mothers.
I believe in the value and importance of having a warm and authentic relationship with my clients, to inspire them and help them find their true path in life.
I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work and I am registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and the Canadian Association of Social Worker.

Stephanie Schiraldi MACP, Registered Psychotherapist
My clients describe me as warm and easy to open up to. You can expect a non-judgmental space where we work at a pace that you feel ready for because therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating.
Together we will work to achieve the changes you want for yourself, identify the root of the problems or symptoms you are facing, and you’ll learn more about yourself through the process.
I am grateful to have over 7 years of experience working with adults to process and overcome the far-reaching impacts of trauma on the mind and body. I am a Registered Psychotherapist that worked with those who experienced trauma from historical childhood abuse, unhealthy relationships, sexual abuse and sexual assault. Trauma can show up in many ways in the mind and body including anxiety, depression, nightmares, difficulty trusting others, among many other common symptoms. I use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches that are trauma focused to support you in processing your experiences and reaching your goals for therapy, whether you are looking for support as an individual or as a couple. I am Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) trained, and I draw from various other approaches including Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Somatic Experiencing and Emotion Focused Therapy. In my work with couples I draw upon trauma-informed modalities as well as Gottman Method and Emotionally Focussed Therapy for couples.
Through such evidence-based therapeutic approaches I’ve observed significant shifts with people I’ve worked with. I have witnessed them become more empowered, self-compassionate, and calmer with a newly gained sense of peace when thinking of their past traumatic experiences.
If you’re interested in working together, want more information or have a question, please contact me.
